On Wednesday 11th March Year 2 had a visit from the London Fire Brigade. We met Lauren who talked to us about what to do if your house catches fire.
Using stories we explored the causes of fire and the procedure you need to follow to evacuate safely.
Lauren left the children a copy of a fire plan to help them practise what to do if you have a fire at home and a fire safety check for parents.

Lauren also informed us that the fire brigade will fit free smoke alarms and provide fire safety advice in your homes.
