We continued to learn about significant people in flight. We’ve learnt about The Wright Brothers, Bessie Coleman, Amelia Earhart, Neil Armstrong and The Montgolfier Brothers.
To celebrate the Montgolfier Brothers being the first people to travel in a hot air balloon, we made models of hot air balloons. It was tricky but they looked amazing when they were completed.
The author Chris White also came in to talk to us and show us how to be illustrators. He also made up a funny poem about the animals that we had drawn.
