Year 2 pupils now have the opportunity to earn themselves a pen licence. Previously pen licenses were only given out in year 3.
The year 2 teachers felt some children’s handwriting in year 2 is excellent and they deserve to write in pen!
Year 2 have been practicing their penmanship at school and at home to earn their pen licence.
On Friday afternoon year 2 gathered in the hall to hear the special announcement of the first children to earn their pen licence.
3 children from year 2 will now be writing in pen.
The year 2 teachers can’t wait to give out more pen licences to children who are demonstrating consistent cursive handwriting.
