This week, Year 5 had to freeze frame a scene from their current text ‘Street Child’.
Mr Sprinks, a character not that dissimilar to Scrooge in ‘A Christmas Carol’, evicts Mrs Jarvis and her children from their home. As you can see, the children depicted the feelings of the characters well through freeze-framing the scene. They subsequently went on to write in role as Emily or Lizzie once their mother had left them at the ‘Big House’.
