This week, the children have been finishing the story of ‘The Gingerbread Man’ and have been focussing more on the fox character.
The children pretended to be the fox by wearing a fox mask and eating little gingerbread men. Most of the children liked the taste of the gingerbread they tasted, and ate the whole thing! Others weren’t so keen but still had a taste.
In another class, the children were using some sensory resources and activities during their choosing time. There a number of areas for the children to use in their classes, such as; mark making area and creative area. The children usually play independently during this time, and sometimes the children have an adult working closely with them to encourage more participation.
