Last week, children in Year 3 worked with earthenware clay which takes a bit longer to dry and has a better drying quality. This week, the children were taught about glazing and used a mixture of PVA glue and tempera paint to create some dynamic glazes.
The children worked in groups of two to create the glazes and then paint them on. They are very much looking forward to seeing the final effect when we seal them with a clear varnish. Check out some of the photos below and stay tuned for more updates.
