This week in Year 2, we have begun to read a new book called ‘Grandad’s Island’ It has really intrigued us what might be behind the mysterious attic door and we can’t wait to find out!
During our English lesson we role played a conversation between Grandad and Syd thinking about what clues we could use from the book to start our conversations.
We then used the conversations to learn how to use speech marks in our writing.
