Swimming continues for many of our classes this week. The children have really taken to it this time. More are going in with much less adult support and prompting, as well as swimming independently, which shows how much their confidence has grown since last time.

Our children have also been using soil and grass seeds to plant in small pots and wait for them to grow. This may be a long process, but hopefully the children get to see their grass grow nice and high!

In other classes, our children have been cooking! We always try to get the children used to using kitchen appliances, safety using them as well as being able to make basic snacks and food for themselves. This is key for their future and current independence. This week, the children were making scrambled egg. They started with breaking and whisking the egg, then of course, cooking it. But the most important part, eating it once it was cooked.

Take a look at the pictures below to see the children with the array of activities and learning on show.
