In Year One, we have been doing some amazing work! As part of our curriculum learning, we have been using our artistic skills to create portraits. We have been sketching ourselves by looking in mirrors and using pencils. We have also sketched our friends by looking at them closely.
In writing, we have been retelling the story ‘Argh! Spider!’. We started by practising sentence writing then we used the images from the book to write our own sentences. We have loved writing about the feelings of the spider and using the speech from the family.
