In English we are reading Gregory Cool by Caroline Binch.
This week we have been thinking about how Gregory (a cool city boy) is feeling when he goes to stay with his grandparents and cousin in Tobago. Everything is new and strange to him and he misses his parents.
Paying particular attention to his first breakfast, we acted out the scene and wrote play scripts. We then wrote persuasive poems to try and get Gregory to eat the strange food.
