In History, Year 4 are learning about the Romans. We learnt that the Romans ruled countries across the globe – including Great Britain – which was called the Roman Empire. One of the lessons focused on the Roman army and why they were so successful. The Roman army were well-trained and organised which allowed them to expand their empire and win many battles.
