This half term the children have been reading the story of ‘The Snail and the Whale’ by Julia Donaldson. At the beginning of the week the children created detailed descriptions of a chosen location from the book (tropical island, Arctic icebergs or under the sea caverns).
Once they were finished they then had great fun using their descriptions to create posters advertising their chosen location as a holiday destination. The children tried to make their poster as appealing as possible and selected a bargain price for their holiday.
