As part of our context this week we have been learning about birds. We named different birds, we found out bird facts and we labelled the parts of a bird too.
We then had fun making bird nests out of different materials. We were given wool, paper and straws, and we had to work as part of a team to decide which material would be the best one for making a nest. The nest also had to be strong enough to hold eggs. Some materials were easier than others to weave into a nest shape, but some were not strong. Ask me to explain how I made my nest with my team.
