This term, the children will be investigating materials that make up a home. The children were tasked in creating rubbings of brick walls, fences, wood, tile and other items that created a pattern. We then discussed where these items could be found in a school and came to the conclusion that most of the materials we created rubbings of can also be found in our homes.
Over this term, the children will be looking at a variety of visual and tactile information which can help us learn more about the various buildings we will be looking at.
