Happy New Year!
We were very happy to see all of the children back in school this week. They were excited to start their new topics for this half term. In history our topic is ‘How did we learn to fly?’and in science we will be learning about animals including humans.
We have begun reading ‘Grandad’s Island’ written by Benji Davies much to the delight of the children. This week, different children took on the role of Syd while others asked him questions about what he saw and how he was feeling while he was on Grandad’s boat. The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and came up with some interesting questions for Syd. We are looking forward to finding out what adventures Syd gets up to with Grandad.
