Last week’s indoor cricket tournament was nothing short of thrilling! With back-to-back games and a high-stakes atmosphere, our team was fully immersed, making it challenging to capture all the action through pictures.
Our squad of 10, including several newcomers to cricket competitions, stepped onto the indoor pitch with determination. Despite half the team having never experienced an indoor cricket competition, they pulled off an incredible 3rd place finish!
The team showcased exceptional performances both with the bat and ball. However, what truly stood out was our impeccable fielding. Throughout the four games, we managed to hold onto every catch we got our hands to and executed numerous crucial run-outs. It’s a testament to the team’s dedication and hard work.
Of particular note were two team members who began their cricket journey just last September. Despite their recent entry into the sport, their contributions were immense, highlighting their rapid progress and dedication.
Overall, it was a momentous event for our team, marked by extraordinary efforts and a commendable display of sportsmanship. We’re incredibly proud of our team’s achievements and eagerly look forward to future competitions!
