Year 5 have been learning the difference between improvisation and composition this week.
Having been given an instrumental section to learn previously, this week Year 5 were given five notes to improvise their own instrumental section in a minor key to the song. Once happy with their improvisation, pupils were given the opportunity to share their creations with the class accompanied by the backing track.
