This week Year 2 wrote a story about Dougal the deep sea diver. Each day the children were shown a different picture from the book by Simon Bartram and they wrote their own versions of the story. They wrote some amazing original stories. After they had written their stories using information from the pictures we read the actual book. We think our versions were the best!
We role-played an interview between Dougal and some reporters before we wrote that part of the story.
