This week we have been conducting our very own investigations in science.
Some children considered what happened when extra bulbs were added to circuits, other groups explored what happened when wires were tied in knots and a few groups even explored what happened when you added more or less battery power into a completed circuit.
It was a great opportunity for the children to recap the key principles of fair testing, remembering just how difficult it is to keep any test completely fair.
A selection of working groups proved their hypothesis correct, yet others realised their results didn’t quite match up with their initial predictions and this enabled us all to have some really exploitative conversations.
Great job everyone!
