Year 3 were using photographic and pictorial evidence linking to a scientific discovery of a stone age human. The remains of the human are said to be thousands of years old and found with him were a number of different tools and items of clothing that he would have needed in his everyday life.
We worked in groups to link the pictures to the descriptive words and sentences, working together as scientists to try and uncover the truth about this ancient person.
To begin with, we were given no clues to what the objects were in each picture. We had to discuss and collectively decide together what we thought they were. Then we needed to use the evidence we found to link the pictures to the words and descriptions given to us.
We had a great time and worked really well together to uncover the mystery of this stone age man. Here are some pictures of us researching and collecting data.
