Next term, Karl Nova – an award-winning poet, author and hip hop artist – will be visiting our school to share his poems. This week, we explored the poem ‘Changes’ and ‘Poetry?’ from his debut book Rhythm and Poetry and we enjoyed the lyricism, wit and positivity displayed in his work. We decided to take advantage of the sun and perform ‘Poetry’. In an effort to engage our audience, we altered our expression and tone throughout the reading and added some actions for fun! We can’t wait to write our own poems next week.
