Year 6 have been developing their keyboard skills, learning to play the blues melody and the 12 bar blues. We have been exploring the relationship between flatted notes and ‘natural’ notes and the spaces between notes, that create the special blues melody.
We’ve also be looking at the ‘C, F, G’ pattern of the 12 bar blues, and how it is used to accompany the blues melody. We hope you enjoy our jam session!
