The Year 5 children have really been enjoying reading Krindelkrax in their English lessons. We can’t wait to read each chapter to find out what the characters have been up to and whether Elvis Cave has broken any more windows! This week we had a fun and interactive lesson where the children acted out one of the chapters. Some children played Elvis and were brilliant ‘bad actors’ like him. Some children played the role of Mr Lace, the teacher who has no real authority and some children took on the role of narrator, pulling the story line together. We are loving this book so far…and it’s only going to get better!
