To build on the skills the children have learnt in Reception, Year 1 have been learning about the four seasons in science. To help understand all the changes which take place during the year, we are going to use the school garden to observe how trees, plants and the weather changes.
Today is the first official day of autumn and what better way to learn about this season then to go outside and look at what we can see.
We noticed the leaves were beginning to turn brown and fall from the trees, the weather is cooler and our vegetables had no more new tomatoes and beans.
Help us look out for new changes during the year!
