In maths we are learning about making a repeating pattern and we have created repeating patterns using the shoes we have for sale in our shoe shop role play area. The children have dressed up and have taken on the role as either the customer or shop keeper and have selected shoes, boots or slippers to create a repeating pattern. As you can see in the photos we think of interesting ways to learn, play and explore how to make a repeating pattern as well as finding out how to sell shoes or select shoes to buy.
