Nursery love playing with play dough so we thought we would make our own this week! The children have loved making it and describing the changes they saw happening with the dough along the way.
This is how we made our dough:
1. First we mixed the flour and salt in a large bowl.
2. Next we added water, cream of tartar, a few drops of food colouring and the oil.
3. We then had to Knead the ingredients to form the smooth dough.
The children have loved adding the ingredients and mixing them in the bowl. They predicted what they thought would happen when we added the food colouring and they were right! The play-dough changed colour. Take a look at the children enjoying their session.
