Year 1 have been doing some exceptional maths work this week.
The children have been looking at length by using comparative language. They have been using the words ‘taller’, ‘tallest’, ‘shorter’, ‘shortest’, ‘higher’, ‘highest’, ‘lower’, ‘lowest’, ‘longer’ and ‘longest’ to compare lots of different objects.
Our favourite activity this week was exploring our own houses and classroom for different objects to draw and then compare.
