Maths Week reached its half way mark today with plenty more maths resources being used across the school. Year 6 have continued to be exploring the geometry of shapes by using Geoboards to help them reflect shapes and translate shapes and find out their new position. Year 1 and Year 2 children have been exploring number bonds using numicom. And children in the nursery have been a variety of maths resources, including balances to help them find out which objects are heavier than others.
Meanwhile in the TT Rock Out Competition 6W is still in the lead, but with 4A and 4H now closing the gap in second and third place respectively. Children at Monteagle have answered 440,586. That is the 13 highest in all of England. Well done!
