This week we have been exploring our new outdoors messy play area. In our messy play area we have a mud kitchen, big tyres and a digging area.
We have really enjoyed cooking in our mud kitchen using the pots, pans and spoons. We also found some mini beasts in the mud. It was fun watching them and describing what they looked like, and what they were doing.
We built ramps on tyres and pushed cars along them developing our imaginative play.
We also used spades to dig holes in the mud. Soon we will be planting and these skills will help us when we need to bury the seeds in order to plant them.
