This week, Year 5 has been buzzing with excitement during Maths Week! We’ve had an amazing time exploring maths in fun and interactive ways, showcasing our reasoning skills, teamwork, and love for problem-solving.
Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been up to:
🧩 Daily Puzzles: Each day, we challenged ourselves with tricky reasoning puzzles. It was fantastic to see everyone using their critical thinking skills to crack the challenges.
🎸 TTRS Competition: The hall was filled with energy as we battled it out in a Times Tables Rock Stars competition! The week culminated in a Grand Final, where our top mathematicians went head-to-head in an epic showdown.
🔓 Code-Breaking Activity: One of the highlights was our code-breaking session. Armed with determination and some serious maths skills, we cracked codes and unlocked the secrets!
🌟 Interactive Puzzles: Outside, we enjoyed trying to solve the interactive puzzles scattered around the school grounds. It was great fun seeing so many minds at work, collaborating and thinking creatively.
