Last week, Year 4 learnt an important song in preparation for Euro 2024! That’s right… they learnt the infamous ‘World in motion’ by British band ‘New Order’. This song, a combination of both dance and rap, became New Orders only number one hit.
Year 4 learnt the song, and the John Barnes rap of course, and then learnt the rather tricky instrumental which is at both the beginning of the song and you can also hear it during the choruses. You can hear both individual and group performances below.
All of Year 4 sung this song, and many other football songs with incredible enthusiasm. Fingers crossed we can keep singing these songs for many weeks to come and thank goodness England got off to a winning start last night!
