Last week, the Monteagle choir put on a sensational festive performance to parents. The children had been practising extremely hard in the run up to the performance, attending weekly rehearsals as well as practising a lot at home! Some children even auditioned for solos with the likes of Angel, Zafeera, Ivy and Sparshiya singing confidently, to a large audience, accompanied only by the guitar. This choir is very special and are going to be doing great things in 2023 I am sure.
The choir also took part in our festive ‘Big sing’ and were joined by the staff choir as well as a number of Year 5 and 6 carol singers. I hope you enjoy listening to our performance of Silent Night above with soloist Zafeera from Year 3 and Somewhere Only we know on a separate page with soloist Angel from Year 4.
