This week on the rare beautiful sunny winter’s day we had, we took advantage of the sunshine and enjoyed the outdoors. Some children found the mud kitchen a very meaningful and enriching learning experience while playing outside. The children were so engrossed in finding just the right consistently of mud and mixing sticks, twigs and grass to create wonderful mud cakes. They were also discovering living and non living creatures which added ‘protein’ to the mud cakes!
