This week, Year Five had a company visit us and talked about different mythical and legendary stories. The three main time periods we focused on were; Ancient China, Ancient Rome and Ancient Greece.
During our time in the workshop, we were recreating a story from each time period. However, we had to perform them in a similar way they would have been presented at the time, mainly using; dance, actions, voices and to use our body to walk or move in a particular way to link to the story being read out.
It was fun to take part in and gave us all a different insight into how people told stories. Here are some pictures of some of the activities we took part in.
