This week in reception, children have been reading the book, ‘Naughty Bus’. All the children enjoyed the storybook. Children looked at the colourful illustrations and became aware of the key vocabulary found in the book. After exploring and discussions about the adventures of the Naughty Bus, reception children created pictures, colouring in activities and also did collage of their own Naughty Bus. Children also constructed their own buses using a variety of construction resources. During the group discussion, they were excited in exploring where their bus would take them. They thought of a variety of places where their bus could go and what their bus would look like. During our literacy focussed activity session, children wrote fantastic sentences describing the naughty bus.
The story of the naughty bus was enjoyed by all the children and they were engaged in all the creative activities whole- heartedly.
