We arrived! Year 6 had a great journey to Trewern and arrived at the centre around 3pm. The children settled into their rooms, making their beds and organizing their clothes before a tour of the site and a delicious pizza dinner.
After dinner, we ventured out for a short hike around the local area which turned into star gazing outing. We were all amazed at how many stars and consolations we could see in the night sky. We even found the big dipper! On returning to the site we used an app on a tablet to identify more plants, stars and consolations.
All the children were in bed by 10pm but many declined a bed time story. There is not a sound from the rooms as we rest up for an action packed day ahead tomorrow.
As the day is so packed, we will upload latest information when the children are in bed.
