The Nursery had very successful art gallery on Friday. First the parents had a short talk about our art project and then joined their children to enjoy a delicious plate of food that had been prepared by the children. Afterwards both the children and parents viewed the pottery wall hangings the children had made. Enoch Adegboye’s mum, who is also a parent governor, opened the morning art gallery for the morning session and Mr Campbell opened the afternoon event.
A specialist art teacher worked with the children to create wall hanging from clay, using found nature items they had found in our garden, to make pattern imprints into the clay. After the clay had dried the children painted them and finally added gloss and then their wall hanging was complete.
