Last week, Year 4 added another Gospel song to their growing repertoire this term.
We began by finishing learning the unfamous gospel song, ‘Oh happy day’ after watching a modern version of this song in the film Sister Act 2. You can see below how some of our soloists got on as we sang in parts in the style of a gospel choir. Later this week, we will perform this to Year 5 and 6 in our weekly singing assembly.
We then learnt another gospel song called ‘Train is a comin’ which included an intrumental on our glockenspiels. This is a challenging instrumental including both high and low C so we will continue learning this in our next session. You can see how we are progressing so far below.
