Reception have now completed their first full week at school!
They have been absolute superstars. It has been a BIG change in their lives and they have coped in a fantastic way.
They have been enjoying using our Reception garden, accessing the resources inside and making new friends along the way.
Today they have had their first music and PE lessons with Mrs Jenkin and Mr Francis, which I am sure they will be very excited to share with you when they get home.
The children have also started their phonics lessons this week and have learnt the sounds s,a,t,p. They have settled well into these lessons and we are very proud of them for all their effort. You will start to receive homework next week of these sounds for children to practice saying them and writing them using our schools cursive handwriting formation.
