This week, children in year 2 have been working in clay to create items they would have seen on the Gruffalo trail. The children created leaves, twigs, branches, and flowers using air drying clay.
Once the clay was dry, the children were given some earthy colours to choose from. They chose a pallet of greys, brown and green to give the effect of a forest.
Next week the children will begin to assemble their painted creations into a large image of the Gruffalo. Stay tuned for more information but in the meantime check out the photos below:
