Dear Parents,
This is a follow-on letter to provide some further explanation and guidance on pick up and drop off times for parents with children in more than one-year group. If this does not apply to you, you do not need to read this letter.
We would also like to encourage the children in years 5 and 6 to walk to and from school on their own wherever they are able to.
As much as possible, please try to adhere strictly to the times given to you as this will stop unnecessary congestion in school.
For those of you with children in multiple year groups please bring them at the earliest slot in the morning.
For example: You have 3 children in years 1,3,6
Year 1: 8.40
Year 3: 8.45
Year 6: 8.55
Drop off all children at: 8.40
At the end of the day you would do the reverse and pick up all children at the latest pick up time of 3.10pm starting with year 1.
It is very important that only families of multiple children follow this guidance as we cannot be overcrowded at these key times. It will increase queues at the gate and make more children late for school.
All children must be collected by 3.10pm
