Year 2 are thrilled to be doing science again and are already enjoying learning about plants. So far, they have discovered that plants can be grown from seeds, such as sunflowers and poppies. They have also learned that seed packets provide a wealth of information on how to care for the seeds and plants as they grow, including details on when and where to plant the seeds, how often to water them, and the expected timeline for growth. Additionally, the children have explored the fascinating world of growing plants from bulbs, like daffodils and tulips. Did you know that a bulb contains everything a plant needs to grow?
