What better way to read and write down familiar logos than to have fun role playing being road safety officers, lollipop people, police officers, cyclists and pedestrians. We spent time talking about how to be safe when crossing the road or when riding on our bikes or using our scooters. We used different signs to help us understand when to stop and wait and when it was safe to go. We also recognised and read familiar signs around the Nursery garden and wrote down important signs to help us be safe. We also spoke about helping each other when we filled up our cars with petrol at the petrol station.
