After lots of practise and hard work, Reception had their first sports day. It was packed with lots of laughter, fun and some great racing.
The children took part in lots of different activities for example the sack race, tennis ball balance and vortex throw. Once they had completed all of these activities they took part in lots of races. One of their favourite parts of the day was watching their parents racing each other.
Throughout the morning we cheered for each other and we persevered to complete all the races which made all the teachers extremely proud of us.
A huge thank you to Mr Francis and Mr Collymore for organising an amazing morning and thank you to the Year 5 sports leaders for helping us.
