This week in year 2 we have been learning about division.
Division means to share equally.
However, during the week we came across some number problems where we could not share the number into equal groups!
We learnt that when this happens it is called a remainder.
We used the dot paper method to help us see how many equal groups we had and how many dots we had remaining.
