Today, we had visiting artist Shona who came and worked with our art club children on a project called “Rivers of the World.” Shona worked with the children on creating under water sea creatures. The children were given the choice of using a pre made tail or creating their own. After they created a body and head for their under water creatures. The final step was using a variety of sequins and glitter paint to create their creatures. These pieces will then be put together by Shona into a larger collaged work of art which will be exhibited at Boat House Creative Studios Malthouse 62-76 Abbey Road, Barking IG11 7BT on September 18th 2018.
