This week, Year 6 began learning the chords C, F and G on their ukuleles and keyboards to play along with rock classic ‘Rocking all over the world’ by Dire Straits. The G chord was challenging on the ukulele but pupils persevered to make a swift transition from their F chord to the G chord. You can see how they got on below!
In the afternoon, we focused on singing, with some unforgettable soloists singing ‘Mama Mia’ and ‘I’m still standing’ on a microphone. It was great to see the children’s confidence growth since the start of the year and the support and reassurance they offered one another during the process. Well done Year 6!
