For Safer Internet Day, our nursery children have been learning important lessons about staying safe online. We explored the idea that not everything we see on the internet is true and discussed what to do if something online makes them feel worried or upset.
We also talked about personal information, helping the children understand what it is and why it’s important not to share details like their name, address, or school online. Through fun activities and discussions, we encouraged them to always speak to a trusted adult if they have any concerns.
By introducing these key messages in an engaging and age-appropriate way, we are helping our little learners build positive digital habits from an early age.
