This week we wanted to share some more sensory circuit pictures the children have been participating in.
As mentioned last week, this is new to Monteagle so we are in the process of perfecting these and making them as sensory based as possible for the children. We are tweaking and adapting them each time to make them more engaging, and we wanted to share the progress we are making with them to everyone at home.
Another reason we are sharing this is that it is so simple to set up at home to do with your children. It can be in the house, or set up outside with different toys, swings, etc for them to use. If you do not have access to a garden or outside area, they can be taken to the local park too. The children really seem to love them and enjoy jumping onto different spots, rolling across the floor, and even climbing through or over large obstacles.
You can make them in any way and can be changed whenever you like. They are great to do, so please feel free to take ideas from the pictures and make your own. Also, if you would like to have more information on sensory circuits, please do ask us at school and we can talk through them and send some resources or pictures for you to try.
Take a look at our pictures below of the sensory circuits we have completed this week.
