In maths we’ve continued looking at 2D and 3D shape this week.
We’ve described their properties using the mathematical words including edge, vertices, and faces.
We also made repeated patterns using 2D and 3D shapes, as well as recognising symmetrical patterns.
it has also been time to changed our display outside of the classroom again, and we wanted to showcase our shape learning journey. We had fun drawing a ‘dangerous’ shape, and then we had to make a ‘wanted poster ‘ and describe the shape.
And finally, we drew around shapes to make a bigger picture. Dandrei made a rocket using rectangles, triangles and circles.
